“You should go on Britain’s Got Talent….” ![]()

I have heard this A LOT in the past 12 months…
especially after the massive success of The Nightchurch Piano Tour
and now my actions have started to appear on national news. ![]()

Dye to the frequency of these comments, would I ever consider doing it? ![]()
Well, the short answer is they do not want me. ![]()
I will admit…like a lot of musicians and entertainers, I tried getting on the show a few times when I was younger. ![]()

In recent years, I have even been contacted by their casting directors, most recently in 2024 after I made the headlines. ![]()
But…a lot has changed now…..
The only time I got fame is at a time when I didn’t ask for it. ![]()
If I am ever going to go on this kind of show in the future, I have to be myself. I can’t be told what to be or what to say when I am on stage. For the audience to connect with me, I have to be me. ![]()
I didn’t feel comfortable with the producers on a few things they were saying when I was previously shortlisted…..and that may be why the executive producers have said no. ![]()
I am completey fine with that. I don’t think I would be right or good enough for the show anyway. ![]()
I only agree to publicity opportunities to advertise the concerts that I do so I can continue to help as many people in need as I possibly can. ![]()
I don’t want self glorification. I wouldn’t even want the prize money. I would.give it all away if I ever won it…..
I just want to do the right thing because it’s not the talent that matters, it is how I use it and I will continue to use it properly. ![]()
