ST MAWES….I haven’t been this emotional since Truro Cathedral
Community spirit is strong in Cornwall…it always has been…
…..but tonight was something else. 
Everyone came together ay St. Mawes Memorial Hall (Cornish and Ukranian alike) 
to support Ukraine with a MEGA fundraiser for medical aid on the front line. 
The event has raised THOUSANDS! 
I loved the Ukranian songs,, the young pianist at the start was amazing 
, ….and the chefs who made tonight’s food combined with all the volunteers/organisers who held it all together… it is a night that I am not going to forget anytime soon….the live web chat opened my eyes also 
It was an honour to play at the event. Thank you to Helen for inviting me and to Stephen Richard Chapman and the team for looking after me tonight
